🔄 Overview
We want you to love everything you order from Chef’s Larder AU — but hey, we know sometimes things don’t go as planned. Whether it’s not what you expected or something arrived a little off, we’ll do our best to make it right.
Here’s the lowdown on how to return an item if needed 👇
📦 Returns
You’ve got 30 days from the day you receive your item to send it back — no stress, no awkward explanations.
To qualify, the product needs to be in its original condition and packaging (unless it arrived damaged or faulty). If that’s the case, just send us some clear pics and we’ll sort you out fast.
If the product isn’t returned, or it’s missing packaging and not in resellable condition, unfortunately we can’t process your return.
Note: Apparel and print-on-demand items follow different return rules. See “Apparel & Print-on-Demand Returns” below for full details.
📝 How to Return
- Step 1: Email returns@chefslarderau.com and tell us what’s up.
- Step 2: We’ll review your request and get back to you with what to do next.
- Step 3: Ship the item back. You’ll need to cover shipping unless it was our mistake (like damage or the wrong item).
💡 Pro tip: Use a tracked service to avoid any postal mysteries. If a return is lost in transit and it wasn’t tracked, we unfortunately can’t take responsibility for the missing item.
Note: For apparel and clothing, different return rules apply. See below for details.
💰 Refunds & Exchanges
Once your return arrives and we’ve given it a look over, we’ll let you know whether it’s been approved.
If approved, we’ll process your refund straight away. It can take 3–5 business days for the funds to appear depending on your payment provider. We’ll shoot you a confirmation as soon as it’s been actioned on our end.
Please note: any processing fees (e.g. transaction or payment gateway fees) may be deducted from your refund total.
Prefer store credit? If you choose store credit instead of a refund, we’ll cover the return shipping and you’ll receive the full purchase amount as a credit to use anytime — no deductions, no fees.
Exchanges are only offered for items that arrive damaged or defective.
Clothing exchanges are subject to different rules. See the apparel section below.
🚫 What You Can’t Return
- Perishable goods (like food items)
- Gift cards or digital downloads
- Anything used, damaged (not our fault), or missing parts
Apparel and made-to-order items have additional restrictions. See below.
👕 Apparel & Print-on-Demand Returns
All clothing and printed merchandise (like t-shirts, hoodies, hats, etc.) is custom-made by our production partner when you place your order.
Because these items are made to order, we’re unable to accept returns or exchanges for incorrect sizing or change of mind. We recommend double-checking the sizing chart on each product page before ordering.
If your apparel item arrives damaged, defective, or misprinted, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. Just email support@chefslarderau.com with your order number and photos of the issue, and we’ll work with our production partner to arrange a replacement or refund.
